Service was disappointing!!!! Our server was Amanda. Asked what your house specialty was & she said my Favorite is the salmon. I ordered the Filet. I was under the impression you were in competion with Ruth Chris's but our server recommended the Salmon??? I Requested bleu cheese on my filet mignon, my plate was brought to the table only to be returned because she said she had the wrong dish. Bleu chesse was omitted. She removed my plate only for the dish to return with bleu cheese on the side & NOT melted onto the filet.
We had 6 guests @ our table. 3 were drinking beer, 1 water, 1 makers mark & myself a mixed drink. We all order another round w/ our server asking if I would like a beer. I was never drinking a beer....
Our guest ordered the fried catfish he had to ask numerous times for some seafood sauce.
Also had to ask for napkins, but were surprised we were given PAPER ones. With linetable cloths but PAPER NAPKINS that's kind of strange.

Upscale, toney, well-designed restaurant with a high-end bar on the second floor. Emphasis is on wines by the glass, but drinkers were friendly, and there was a good selection of taps as well; I had a good pint of Smuttynose Porter. Might want to dress up a bit for this one to fit in better. Came highly recommended from our waitress at the Taphouse.
